DietBet Day 23

I’m back, again.

Last week was rough on multiple levels, and no matter how many times I tried to sit down and write something I was finding myself with nothing to say. So I took a break, and I’m feeling refreshed. Last week I saw no weight loss, I maintained at 287 pounds. I trained 3 days as usual and my eating was ehhhh alright. Not where it needed to be, but not so bad that I gained 5 pounds like a binge. This week to complete my DietBet challenge I need to lose 5 pound. I’m not sure I can do it, but I’m sure as Hell gonna try. I’m terrified, and excited. I have enjoyed this process for the most part. Sometimes life happens and throws you for a loop, but DietBet is a good reminder to get back on the horse. Giddy up!

The end of this week will be the end of my challenge and the beginning of my vacation. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. Along with trying to focus really hard on my challenge I’ll be prepping for our mountain adventure. This will be my first time in Colorado, and my first time hiking an actual mountain trail. I’m ready for some nature, hiking trails, and SNOW. This south Texas girl has only seen snow once in her life, back in 2004 (I remember it being like pure magic, and we could all use a little magic in our lives).

So here’s a run down of my day, WARNING I was extremely boring today.

 

9AM: But first Coffee.

1PM: Lunch - Chicken, greens, and broccoli.

5PM: Workout time. Power Clings, Modified Burpees, and Prowlers alllll day erry day!

6PM: smorgasbord of random foods in our fridge. Salmon pinwheel, veggie "Lasagna", and roasted squash. Random but good.

Oh so cool thing today, I wore an old t-shirt from a friend of mine today. When I received this shirt it “fit” like most of my clothes did, big in the arms, small around the middle (unfortunately I don’t have an old full body picture of me wearing this shirt). Today I put the shirt on to work out in and it was really big on me. You can’t necessarily tell in these pictures (damn you white!) but I can feel the difference. I’ve officially gone down a shirt size!
