DietBet Day 17

Hi everyone! Whew what a week it’s been. I’m sorry I disappeared again without warning I know I promised I wouldn’t. Lesson learned, don’t make promises you can’t keep. I’ve been so busy this week that I even missed my Tuesday workout (no worries I’ll make it up on Friday). Getting back at it today felt so good, I didn’t realize how much I enjoy my routine. With Michael’s Midterms and work our house has been going at full throttle all week and I’m sad to say I haven’t been quite as discipled as I’m supposed to be. I’ve maintained my weight which is good but I’ve only seen a .5 Lb weight-loss so far this week (hopefully I can pull it through by Saturday). Overall I’ve lost about 7lbs in these past few weeks! Which makes my total weight lost around 21 Lbs since October. I’m very proud but I know I have a long way to go.

Quick side note: I was out to lunch today at my favorite local Thai place and I’m telling you I’m never safe in this town. haha Little did I know while I was stuffing my face with a Bun Bowl chicken Geneva was a few tables over witnessing the whole thing. (Upon further reflection I now realize I really need to pay attention to my surroundings haha) My waitress awkwardly came over and tapped me on the shoulder saying “Um ma’am, you’re-uh-trainer is over there…” to which I was laughing hysterically because of course. We had a good laugh and now my new nickname at the gym is Noots after my most recent scandal. It’s all in good fun, what can I say, I love Thai food! And I love a gym that keeps me laughing.

Tonight’s Workout:

Tonight’s workout was a doozy, I certainly got my money’s worth at the gym tonight. I felt so much better after, like always and my girl never lets me down.

3 Runs, 100 Lunges, 3X10 Hamstring curls (which are a band exercise Geneva promises will give my butt extra lift, ain’t nothing wrong with a little lift amiright?)

4 Sets: 30 second wall sits, 10 pull ups, and 15 wall balls (14 Lb. medicine ball)

Time for a shower and time for bed! I’m back on track! Workout again tomorrow,
