Return of the DietBet!

Thursday’s workout was a good one, I was pretty dead when it was all over which is exactly how I like to be after a workout. After workout I had a clean dinner, and then lost (badly) to a game of Scrabble with Michael. We decided to continue being our geriatric selves and hit up a local Bingo spot because eh, why not (I lost there too). I’m beginning to think I may have a gambling problem because along with playing Bingo tonight, I also decided to enter another DietBet (totally kidding about the gambling problem btw). I am starting round 2 of DietBet tomorrow, I weighed in at 289.9 (sheesh!). Vacation hit me hard apparently, and granted I weighed in at the end of the day after dinner and a copious amount of water. I can see changes in my body but I’m having a bit of a hard time keeping it up on the scale, not quite sure what that means other than I need to try harder. My new goal weight is 278.3, and I’m actually really excited to start again. Coming back from vacation left me feeling lazy and it’s time to get serious again. I swear the motivation is worth it whether you win or lose. I won’t be documenting every DietBet day here on the blog this time, but I will post updates and try to post to Instagram on the daily.

Now on to Thursday’s WOD

Today I had to do Strict press (bar only) and Skull Crushers as my strength exercises. Then I did 4 rounds: 1 ball run around the building (14lb ball), 10 step up with dumbbells, and 20 Floor-to-overhead Plates (25 Lb plate). I tried to keep moving as much as possible. I was drenched in sweat by the end and cherry red in the face. Wooo!
