You would not believe the amount of effort it took to ease myself down onto my desk chair just now. Haha Everything is so sore! A sign of a week of good workouts, and the fact that I’ve missed so much gym time in the last month.
I’ve been enjoying the beginning of summer with my littlest siblings these past two weeks. Did I mention I come from a really big family? My evenings as of late have been spent marathoning various Pixar and Disney films, swimming at the pool, and going for ice cream (oops). We’ve been having a blast and I’m enjoying the family time with the kiddos before they think they’re too cool to watch Disney movies with their older sister.

I skipped yet another week at the gym, and I’m picking it up this week by going 5 straight days. (something I’ve never done before). Let me tell you, OUCH. Everywhere. There is not a part of my body that isn’t sore. Including my actual butt, it literally hurts sitting on a chair. Haha No lie, I missed this feeling. It’s always good to come back.
I’m not sure if I’ve just been a complete baby, or if Geneva is going extra hard on me (Jk she’s always hard on me, love you boo!). This week I thought I was going to die at every single workout. It could also be the heat because ladies and gentlemen it is officially summer in Victoria, Texas. It has been hot, and it’s only going to get hotter. I’m trying my best to adjust, but as a previous non-exerciser/A.C dweller it’s going to take some serious getting used too. Haha This is the first summer in a very long time that I don’t spend the majority of my free time avoiding the sun and the sweltering heat it brings. Hey it’s good to sweat, right?
