Weekly Update: I Ran Half a Mile!

Sooooooo again I have failed to post all week. Way to go me! In all seriousness though I have been one busy lady this week, on top of workouts, my husband and I have been working on renovating our used coach bus/RV/future tiny home that we purchased well over a year ago. We decided to buy a used coach bus in February of 2015 with the intention of eventually living and traveling in it sometime after Michael is finished with school, and with his graduation approaching rapidly we thought now was a good time to get our butts into gear to finish converting this thing into our home. Needless to say it’s a ton of work, but we’re super excited about it, and we’ve enjoyed spending our free time fixing it up. If you’d like to follow that journey I have a separate bus blog that I have not updated in forever (I plan on getting back to that as we’ve made loads more progress) but it’ll give you a good look at what our plans are and what we’ve finished so far. You can find that here.

In addition to spending every spare moment we had on the bus, this week was finals week, which doesn’t impact me too much since I’m not the one in school at the moment, but it does stress me out. I can’t help it I’m a worrier! Haha Michael finished with finals Thursday (thankdalort) and I can regain my sanity now that all the hoopla is over. I miss being in college, but I do not miss finals week, I think all my anxiety about it may be some kind of PTSD (kidding of course).

This was my second week of working out 4 days in a row, my body is still getting used to it. It’s amazing how adding one day makes such an impact. I feel a little like I did when I first started, constantly sore, tired, but already I feel stronger after only 2 weeks. This week I ran half a mile, twice! Something I haven’t done since, well I don’t think I’ve ever run half a mile before now that I think about it. I hated every second of it, but I was still able to complete it without actually dying so I hate running just a tiiiiiiiny bit less than I did before. Running and I have had a long hate fueled relationship, Ryan Gosling is helping me get over that haha. I count the fact that I’m even moving at a pace faster than something between a very tired sloth and a speedy snail as progress, so I’m pretty proud of myself this week.

Yass Ryan Gosling Yassss!

So since my schedule is going to be pretty packed for the foreseeable future, I’m going to be bringing my posting schedule down to maybe once or twice a week with general updates for a little while until I get my life together. Somehow my life is so busy, yet still so boring. How can this be? Someone please make me more interesting, or just give me tons of money so I can only do fun things! Just kidding, but seriously.
